And once you finish Route C, the C/D/E endings can all be wrapped up in about 20-30 minutes. Route C is just awesome this is where the bulk of the story is, and it's a roller coaster from start to finish. But there's a lot of things during Route A that don't appear to make any sense, and Route B helps put these into context. Some people didn't like having to play through the same events twice. Promise it will make more sense when you get closer to that point. I'm sure the last three sections sound pretty confusing, since they're tough to write without spoilers. This starts another boss battle, and afterwards you'll see Ending E. Watch Ending C or Ending D again, and during the credits, when Pod asks you something, say Yes.

So you'll jump to the very end of Route C, make the opposite of the choice you made the first time, and this gives you Ending D. Credits roll, during which the Pod will ask you something - be sure to say No.Įnding D - After finishing Route C, you open a chapter select function on the title screen, where you can jump to any point in the story and replay it. After the final fight, you're given a choice (won't spoil anything) that dictates whether you get Ending C or Ending D. This route is all brand new content, with new sidequests.

You'll play as 2B, 9S, and another android that I don't think you've met yet. Route C - Load that save, and you'll finally start the second half of the game. This is Ending B, and after the credits, the game will again prompt you to save. There's also a lot of additional story revealed, including a huge twist at the end that shapes the rest of the game. This playthrough is basically the same as Route A, but goes much quicker if you've already finished most of the sidequests. Route B - load that save, and you'll start the game again, this time as 9S. Route A - you play as 2B, up until the final boss battle, and the credits roll.
